The Main Hall refurbishment

The village hall has once again been given a new lease of life with its internal refurbishment project. The main hall has been painted and brightened up, adding a bit of modern grey and updating in the space for the community. See photos below; the right image is before and the left image is after. 

This interior work follows the successful completion of the previous stages, which included the replacement of the external cladding on the outside of the building and the revitalisation of the courtyard and canopy area. The transformation of the entire building is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.

As part of our ongoing improvements, we are also in the process of replacing the main hall’s dated heating system. The old system has been in situ for more years than we care to mention, and we’re working hard to get the new one installed before the cold weather kicks in.

Residents will be able to see all the completed work for themselves at our 'End of Summer Party' on Saturday, 13th September. We hope to see many familiar and new faces there to celebrate with us!
